I don't know about medicine at all, it have never happening to me before, the longest I got that crazy flue maybe only 3 days, seriously, I was strong and without any medicine, that was cured itself. Even when I look back to my past job as a supervisor when I was not sleep for 2 days or working like crazy for a long week, I just fed up but ended up very happy, ya at least I'm a bit happy to see my sick look and I'm wearing Marc Jacobs shirt, oh really. AFTER PARTY CAPTURED 0.1 - 1 in the midnight and still awake, then voila the beautiful Miss. Alodita replied my photo request, this is from the event Mad Men show last week, I was sitting and surrounded by the Plaza Indonesia event team, was nice and good to see them. Basically I'm not a party person, so it was only a couple hours then moved and go home, party perhaps only if tomorrow is nothing to do for work, but unfortunately I love making money rather than party, that's the fact of life, but you need a party ya once a month? LOL tell me...
BRITISH INVASION - London, one of the biggest capital city of fashion in the world and one of my obsession. If we are talking about British or London style, a lot of images and imaginations that came through my mind, start from its elegance and classy that so much influenced by the Victorian era, the rebellious tense that you feel all over London streets where the punk and music and fashion mix together to become a pop culture and they are actually felt everywhere.
Following names like Alexander Mcqueen, John Galliano, Christoper Kane, Vivienne Westwood, Stella McCartney, the legendary Burberry, Phillip Treacy etc etc and the new love goes to Mary Kratantzou with her epic and dramatic designs, just heart all the prints. So it becomes an essential things from British design, if i have to tell you all my top 3 and all the must have thigs in your life and of course myself, it will be Burberry Coat, The OMG millinery and The Kratantzou Prints.
I have to say that when it comes to coat anything coat; trench coat, peacoat, double breasted coat, long coat, military coat, i need it exactly from the expert, well although I prefer from Burberry Prosum, because most of the coat design refers to Burberry's legendary coat, yes Burberry and its coat have a long story and the item always on Burberry first face. The new coat collection from Burberry for Spring/Summer 2013 is a major revolutionary on the journey of the coat itself, the metallic coat.
From the Queen to the queer, from Lady D to Lady Gaga - we are all love all this gorgeous millinery by Mr. Philip Treacy. I can say it is symbol of beauty, classy and elegance but you can play with it and twisted it become something very genuine, edgy, rebel and out the box - another must have and another master piece made by Mr. Philip Treacy is already on my list.
It is a total art and I can stop amaze by only looking all the illustrations and the prints on all clothes. I want want want the blazer so bad and all my top 3 must have from British design *finger-crossed* and if I looking at my personal style, I do love outerwear, I love coat so much the double breasted one, I am obsessed in full printed shirt as I love the Mary Kratantzou designs and I wish someday I can put one or two millinery in London Fashion Week :))))).
Not forget about the top fashion bloggers, some of them is came from this land; Sussie Lau from Style Bubble, Pelayo Diaz from Katelovesme (basically he was studying in Central Saint Martins College of Art) and Kristin Knox from The Clothes Whisperer, she also an author for the book Alexander McQueen: Genius of a Generation
Susie Lau (Susie Bubble) from Style Buble
Pelayo Diaz From Katelovesme
Kristin Knox from The Clothes Whisperer
They all are giving us a lot of fashion inspirations in this digital era, we can see what they are actually wearing right now, as long as they upload their latest look via twitter or blog. They are all become obsession, I'm obsessed and it is obsessive for people who actually taking their attentions to fashion and became very conscious about it. For myself in Deluxshionist, they are helping me to see what is really happening there, with an updates and of course with their genuine style. I wear what I like and I shop what is basically that i can afford, but London with their style, art and culture always make me excited and absolutely I put my eyes on them.
The good news came from British Council, there will be a full day workshop in Plaza Senayan with one of UK Blogger, she is Kristin Knox, wooohooooop - the workshop is a part of Jakarta Fashion Week 2013. Do you can't wait? oh me too, they will be a lot of exhibitions related UK fashion and more info maybe you can check British Council "UK Fashion Now" below...
THE PAPILION MAFIA - "TAXIIIIIIIIII, please I need to be there on 15 minutes, I'm so fashionably late"... and I wasn't late, took some pics from the show last Wednesday "Mad Men" menswear show by The Papilion Kemang and still have time to see the Final Walkthrough.
Lucky me while some friends and editors was late because the one and only traffic especially if we talk about Kemang right now, but overall the show was major and truly great; good shows, chic crowds and it was not high society nor hipster party, it was a very metropolis and I love it. The shows itself is featuring the new Papilion menswear from Fall/Winter 2012 collections, you can find Dries Van Noten, Junya Watanabe, Comme des Garcon, Carven both for womenswear including Stella McCartney, Missoni, and Proenza Schouler also Mulberry for the goods and many many more.
A lot of jackets (double breasted jacket), shirts, sweaters and great drinks also foods, so i came here and happily ever after party...lol. No picture of me, but the beautiful Alodita took my pic with the Plaza Indonesia team, maybe I have to contact her for the photos. I saw some friends partying, while me enjoying the crowds with 2 glasses of drinks and talking about how's good the show with everyone then I go home and this time without any traffic.
FOLLOW THIS & THAT - Well, internet have provided us with so many things to play, hmm No play sih, but I mean visualization is everything, so many platforms in this digital industry made to deliver news in a form of teks, images, videos, image teks videos. So this is what i did in my internet life, I'm still using facebook (noted today is October 18th 2012), twitter obviously my timeline is quite cool, sometimes, and Tumblr, LYST, What I Wear and Pinterest.
So I have curated my favorite picture on Tumblr, mostly they are re-blogged from the Tumblr account I follow, and its helping for stimulate inspirations and envious to the cool pictures. Then LYST, still no idea the function (basically curated the products), but it can make you like having your own online boutique, so you are the buyer (?), recommended for you the "Whislist" expert. I love What I Wear, very clean and sleek layout, curated my personal look in very neat way and the WOW that you got is absolutely only God knows where they are from different with lookbook who did hyped for hyped and Pinterest, I see this as like my tumblr, but the thing right for me about pinterest is, that is ok to share what you have, what you love, what is your inspirations to be on one board, but i would love to follow the board like "3 Days in Bali", "A-Z to make a Chilly Prawn Linguine", "DIY Studded Moccasin" or anything about the process or the journey in a board, well although so far I didn't do that ya hahaha.
But sharing is always fun; so if you want me to take a look your just tell me, I will follow (as long as i like it lol) and if you like mine, just do a click Tumblr, LYST, What I Wear and Pinterest.
so what is yours?

COMME AND FALL TO ME - People have said to me why these fashion magazines (in Indonesia) featured the Fall/Winter trend while here only have 2 seasons, so practical and very implemented. Well, I'm just like, why you no go to Puncak Jayawijaya, No, I mean there are some places that requires us to wear heavier fabrics, thicker textures and even faux fur and with that kind of situation some people concern with their look, cold but cool.
And when it comes to local designers (some young local brands) who actually produce the Fall/Winter collections, I saw their different angle of this. You will see a lot of leather, knit, even fur although just a bit fur, what is their background? to make their brand look cool or just for the sake of their existence in fashion industry?
Some of them said that, "We all want to look cool, I love leather jacket, and I should not put so much to care on this sweats" and in fact the cooler weather make our look cooler (vice versa with the hot weather make our look hotter). While some designes said to me that they need to make this collections exists because of international buyers request (smell of the big money), or like "my customers is mobile person, they love my collections and they want to wear them when the fall has come".
And thank GOD that my parents's place in Bandung is still have their fresh air, peaceful morning sunlight, melodious singing bird etc etc, wish someday I have the pictures to share with you. Maybe that's why, i love layering like this look with 2 shirts, one is quite thick and it's Agnes B Homme printed shirt covered with oversized Comme des Garcons black shirt in floating materials, and I love to wear sweater, and everything Fall-wind-Winter? or should I move somewhere maybe?

SEA OF FASHION COLLABORATIONS - How do you see this phenomenon? this is a good news or the bad news? for the
poor no people like me this is a absoultely a way and an access to an affordable fashion, well not really . I have started this blog since 2 years ago and I talked a lot about luxury fashion, and again i have to agree with Karl Lagerfeld about this kind of situation; I did not mean to impress or look expensive by talking too much about everything luxurious because I want to talk about it (you know talk is cheap) but it is just something that fascinated me (and this is more to experienced it)
And to see a lot of fashion collaborations seems very excited, SOLD OUT in very first day. Once I asked Cindy who actually live in Milan to buy me some ADR x HM necklace and no hope, and then i asked Cath who studying fashion in Singapore, it was sold out. People love fashion and this kind of strategy to reached a wider audiences, no wonder if the collections no need much time to be SOLD OUT. There are Maison Martin Margiela for H&M, J.W Anderson for Topshop (I love the varsity jacket), Kenzo x Van's, Missoni x Converse or Elin Kling for Marciano from GUESS and dont forget the dots Yayoi Kusama for Louis Vuitton even Giuseppe Zanotti with Kanye West. So what are you into?
if me? I am so into Herdiana Surachman for H&M or for Louis Vuitton, or Hermes, Cartier, Alexander McQueen or Robinson or Cubitus *DIED*
