This season we have Thom Browne's first Haute Couture collection, which we already saw his capability years back, even on Met Gala's red carpet. I understand that Haute Couture is time-consuming and expensive, but if you are into Fashion, you probably understand the creative process, the craftsmanship, the time, and the makers involved in creating the couture pieces, unique? maybe, Avant Garde? can be.

These are some Haute Couture looks that I find interesting, not necessarily a full look, maybe the jacket, the outerwear, the details. Like Maison Valentino's full beaded pants that created a denim illusion, genius, or full sequins long jacket by Thom Browne, I WANT!!! and Balenciaga long coats, straight COOL.

Does Haute Couture still exist?

Some of these fashion houses still exist today, under the leadership of modern designers. In the 1960s, a group of young protégés who had trained under more senior and established fashion designers including Dior and Balenciaga left these established couture houses and opened their own establishments.
