MEN'S HIGH FASHION 2022 - Fashion is always intrigued me, especially men's fashion, furthermore men's high fashion, but I think we are already in a new era of a piece of clothing that has no gender, at least for something basic daily clothes. I realized sometimes I wear a blouse that is marketed for women although the cut is neutral, the more extreme example we can see on the tv on the red carpet, men wear dresses and wear sheer fabric that usually only women would wear.
I remember when fashion week start to mix up models of the opposite gender to walk in the certain collection, men's models walk in women's collections and vice versa; I believe brands with gender-neutral like Ann Demeulemeester, Lemaire, and Jil Sander do it earlier, then major fashion houses started to incorporate male model starting with their cruise collection show, or even in their main Spring or Fall collection show. At first, it's a bit confusing, but the fashion scheme is changing, I personally don't care, if it's marketed for men or women, if I like it, I got it, now I window shop and browse in both men's and women's section, especially if it's a good deal.
Also because I love thrifting, I need to find the piece in good condition, I don't care if the shirt was initially for women, of course, I didn't buy dresses or women's undergarments for example, but if you do and wearing it, that's also no problem for me if that's how you express yourself through fashion.

Fashion houses and designers like Maison Margiela, COMME des GARÇONS, JW Anderson, Versace, Dior, Rick Owens, Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Thom Browne, and many more, already experimenting with material, cutting, and silhouette in their menswear ready-to-wear collection. We don't need to wait for a couture show or avant-garde labels to show their men's collection to see the individuality and creativity in menswear.
But it was so exciting to see that now, men could be also an exclusive couture clients club too, splurging money on couture looks. Below is the latest Couture collection that's presenting a menswear aesthetic from Balenciaga, Jean Paul Gaultier, Elie Saab, and Maison Margiela for Fall 2022

Stylish male celebrities that are popping up in my mind wear high fashion, haute couture, or custom-made designs are Lewis Hamilton, Pharell Williams, G-dragon, Harry Styles, Billy Porter, and many more, who are willing to express themself with fashion.
With many couturier open possibilities in menswear dress-making, I really hope we can see more amazing looks at least on the red carpet, such as in Award Shows or Met Gala (because I am already tired to see black and white penguin looks, and they are don't even bother with a theme, we need to see efforts!!! hahaha)
