WHAT SHOULD
YOU SEE WHEN VISITING AUSTRALIA - You’ve been to South America. You’ve gone
through every single one of the 50 states in North America. And now you’re
turning your attention to the Eastern hemisphere. Now, you want to go to
Australia! But it’s a big place; what should you take the time to see and do
while you’re there?
We all have a
fear of missing out on the good stuff. When we travel, we want to know exactly
where to go and what to do. And if you’re one of these kinds of people, this
post is for you! So, what should you see when you go down under? Well,
hopefully, the ideas below will help to inspire your planning process and make
sure you enjoy your time there.
The City Life
The city life
in Australia is unmatched across the globe - places are open till late, and
often enough, it’s a lot cooler to spend time outside when the sun has gone
down. And that means the nightlife here is amazing, no matter the city you’re
nearest or want to stop off in for the night.
For example,
if you stop off in Perth, Western Australia, you’ll have
access to a whole host of bars and nightclubs, which all come locally
recommended, as well as a long line of beach to head down to with a bit of food
and drink if you fancy spending some time alone. There’s something for
everyone!
An Australian Zoo
The zoos in Australia come with a
big reputation. Seeing as quite a few exotic and unique animals call Australia
their home, you’ll want to get up close with them with a nice bit of safety
glass in between! Not to mention the activities on offer in most of them; you
might even be able to hold and cuddle a Koala, as well as get the chance to
cycle through an open plains exhibit.
We all
remember watching The Crocodile Hunter on the TV when we were a bit younger,
and if you want to visit the very zoo where Steve Irwin worked and spent a lot
of his time, you’ll have to punch the address for Australia Zoo into your
SatNav!
Some of the Natural Sights
The natural
sights in Australia are some of the best in the world. It’s a very unique
landscape, and all kinds of natural rock formations, or man-made
curves and cuts through the landscape can be visited on a regular basis, and
you can snap a few photos!
And if you’re
partial to aquatic life, and you love to swim, you may even want to go
snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef. It’s one of the most important coral
reefs in the world, and it’s responsible for keeping a good portion of our oceans
happy and healthy, so it deserves a visit!
If you’re
about to visit Australia, make sure your itinerary includes a few of these
sights and experiences. You wouldn’t want to miss out on them!
