STUNNING STAY AT OCEAN SUITE OF ALILA SEMINYAK - I am back back back again to Bali and I am back to stay at Alila Hotels after a long time, and this time is at Alila Seminyak. My mind is still fresh how the feeling when I first time arrived in Tabanan (even though they're no longer under Alila Management) but the same vibes were there; an open-air high ceiling lobby, the air that was a bit salty certainly made you excited to just jump at the beach, if you are familiar with Alila Hotels, you know what I am talking about, even though this Alila located in Seminyak (which is now too crowded), their elegant resort image is still strong here, especially when I was entering my Deluxe Ocean Suite, 60 square meters room with the infinite blue of Indian ocean fill the whole my sight, it was amazing.
The room is pretty spacious, the bathroom space also effective, including the bathtub inside, even they are decided to cover the window with plants, you really can enjoy the sunset and the beach from the balcony which was actually I spend most of my room time there. The pools also, since my room is located on the left-wing side of the resort, I fill my blue fantasy on the infinity pool on the left side, there's one on the right side (with lesser sunbed) and the massive guests will be on the beach bar side of the pool.
Deluxe Ocean Suite could be your favorite room choice because it's almost no barrier between you and the open beach in your sight. If you want to be closer to the beach, you can choose to enjoy the middle pool next to the beach bar. Beach Bar is also open for the public to come and go, you can enjoy the BBQ night when chasing the sunset, and you can enjoy your drink came faster while you enjoy sunset life music. But make sure you don't wear a branded beer logo t-shirt here because the key is an elegant resort experience, remember that! :D
The music is not loud at all, so you can bring your kids to enjoy the ambiance too, the crowds are definitely different than most beach clubs in the area, so it is safe for your children, but you still can find the beach is so relaxing especially during sunset, so if you are come here to read some book, you still focus on your reading too while the shooting live music is there to accompany other guests enjoying their time there. Overall the stay is stunning, the room definitely has a stunning ocean view, when in the pool crowd is amazing, sunset in beach bar also so elegant, don't forget, the staff is amazing too :)
This stay is also all about the food, none other than Seasalt Restaurant, I will write two separate posts about my experience here. Especially the Seasalt Pairing, which was I think so unique, especially when you want to try something again, elegant dining. Like I spent almost 4 hours chatting and enjoying conversations with colleagues and friends with a great pairing of a beautiful presentation and delicious interesting foods on every plate, soon at Seasalt Pairing at Seasalt Seminyak.
