INDONESIAN DELICACY AT KUNYIT RESTAURANT

INDONESIAN DELICACY AT KUNYIT RESTAURANT

INDONESIAN DELICACY AT KUNYIT RESTAURANT - It's hard to find beautiful and chic restaurants in packed Kuta, not only because it's packed with tourists, but as you know that since Kuta is the area nearest to the airport, people tend to choose Kuta to spend their last Bali meal before flight home (I personally usually choose Ubud, because I always choose the last flight or at least evening flight, because my flight less than 2 hours -1 hour time zone, so that's what I always do)

But I am telling you, one cozy restaurant in Tuban, South Kuta, that is so near to the airport, lovely design and lovely place, especially in the afternoon (if you don't really want to join the crowds with sunset moment) and of course, an evening here was so lovely.

Their specialty is Indonesian and obviously Balinese style food like I ordered was the famous crispy duck and grilled fish with Jimbaran sauce. I personally love them, but if you asked me, I chose the fish (I mean look at that glazed fished with vibrant sauce), but both dishes are their specialty you need to try! And the portion was something beyond, this is more than enough for 2 people, even 3 for us. The drinks were very suitable for Bali's weather, with no complaint at all, they're perfect mocktails. Also, the ambiance was over the top compared with the boring restaurant in the mall or another place in Kuta, very chic and good.

And...... closed everything with signature desserts ES PODENG, I am personally surprised that they're available here, try try try because it's one dope local dessert, very fresh icy, sweet, and just amazing. 100% yes for that ES PODENG!

DINNER TIME AT KUNYIT RESTAURANT

When in Bali and it's dinner time and you need to recharge all those energies, try their Megibung style dinner. "Megibung Megibung is a tradition owned by Karangasem residents, whose area is located at the eastern end of the Island of the Gods, Bali, Indonesia. Megibung comes from a gibung word prefixed. Gibung means activities carried out by many people, ie sharing between one person with another. Megibung is an activity done by many people to sit down to eat together and discuss and share opinions."

So we tried Tenganan Megibung dinner, which consists of Fish, Beef, & Chicken satay, grilled fish, grilled prawns, grilled chicken, white rice, brown rice, sambals, and pan-fried dishes, and local delicacy like Rambak, & Lawar Campur, complete with local desserts platter. We Indonesian love this kind of sharing things, I believe in some other cultures too like in Thailand or India. So it's a great dinner style when you and your friend or family dinner together in oneness and beautiful night in Kuta before the flight home.
