BYREDO BAL D'AFRIQUE PERFUME REVIEW

BYREDO BAL D'AFRIQUE PERFUME REVIEWByredo's Bal d'afrique eau de parfum is a warm and romantic vetiver inspired by Paris in the late 20's and its infatuation with African culture, art, music and dance. A mix of the Parisian avant-gardism and African culture shaped a unique and vibrant expression. The intense life, the excess and euphoria is illustrated by Bal d'Afrique's neroli, African marigold and Moroccan cedarwood.

Love the fresh smell on the top notes, very bright and summery, and fall in love with the musky-ness on the base notes. The smell indeed fall into more feminine categories, but I am wearing it anyway. The scents quite reminds me with the first Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, which is very watery and summery, but with Byredo Bal D'Afrique, you will get the warmness of musk and vetiver in the end. This perfume is not too strong, the durability or fragrance resistance probably about 5 hours (moderate).

The tips I can give you, so you can keep maintain the scent a liitle longer, you can use unscented lotion or that nivea pertroleum jelly before you spray the perfume.
