Cala di Volpe welcomes back Matsuhisa and launches the BeefBar

 

A unique and original balance between tradition and innovation makes Cala di Volpe, with its interpretation of luxury, its visual delights, and the excellence of its service, a brand that is renowned all over the world.

Summer 2021 will unveil the results of the second phase of impressive renovation works carried out at Hotel Cala di Volpe, iconic property in Costa Smeralda managed by Marriott International and owned by Qatar Holding.

This major project of architectural innovation and artistic reinterpretation was realised by Bruno Moinard and Claire Bétaille with their 4BI & Associés architecture studio.

After redesigning the lobby, its iconic bar, and a collection of 68 Contemporary Rooms & Suites between 2019 and 2020, Bruno Moinard is now ready to present 7 new rooms.

In 2021, the original core of the hotel will see the addition of a selection of special rooms and suites designed by Dordoni Architetti.

Among the new and unrivalled gems of the Hotel, there is The Harrods Suite, the ultra-luxury apartment on the hotel’s top floor with an infinity pool and breath-taking views over the spectacular Cala di Volpe bay. Designed by Harrods Interior Design Studio, it was presented to the world only at the end of last summer.

The upcoming season has also the implementation of additional services on the agenda: Cala di Volpe will have a brand new gym, a new Kids Club dedicated to its younger guests, and an extra treatment room inside the elegant Shiseido Spa to guarantee guests unforgettable moments.

Furthermore, the guest culinary experience will be uplifted through a complete renovation of the Bar Terrazza, the Main Restaurant, and the Barbecue Restaurant.

The gastronomic selection of the prestigious Hotel Cala di Volpe will be enriched, next summer, by the recent partnership with Beefbar, a culinary luxury brand specialized in meat delicacies. Beefbar not only is a well-known international chain with restaurants located in cities like Paris, Tulum, Mykonos, Athens, Hong Kong or Saint-Tropez, but it also promotes a new way of living the culinary experience with a modern and innovative approach. Created by Riccardo Giraudi more than 10 years ago in Monte Carlo, this unique concept is based on the accurate selection of top-quality cuts of meats, and it has rapidly become a great success all over the world. Beside its excellent-quality products, Beefbar offers a refined modern ambience and a captivating design: the perfect location to fully enjoy the international dishes on the menu.

This summer the Hotel Cala di Volpe and Costa Smeralda are also proud to welcome back an icon of the worldwide culinary proposal, Matsuhisa at Cala di Volpe Restaurant by the renowned Japanese Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, one of the ten most influential chefs globally.

Set in a prestigious area of the hotel, the restaurant is located on the terrace of the Bar Pontile, the original core of Cala di Volpe, the five-star hotel managed by Marriott International on behalf of Qatar Holding.

Matsuhisa at Cala di Volpe will bring to Sardinia the traditional recipes and the innovative proposals of the worldwide-famous chef and entrepreneur, extraordinary interpreter of the fusion cuisine and representation of a successful model of promoting Japanese cuisine globally.
