IKEDA & MATSUZAKI FOR FRATELLI BORGIOLI, SEISHOU UNBOXING, AND REVIEW - How do you not excited about this collection, two names that are well-known for the best shoemaker in the world, Italy and Japan, and then born SEISHOU, a new luxury shoe line designed by Masaharu Ikeda & Yuko Matsuzaki for Fratelli Borgioli.
I choose this type of shoe because I love the classic and timeless design, very soft shape that very Japanese taste meets with exquisite Italian craftsmanship, I 100% believe that Italian leather shoes (which are Made in Italy) are the world's best. The burgundy color I choose, because it feels so rich yet casual at the same time, it's fun.
The leather is nice and shiny, and the stitching is impeccable, as you can see in the picture, subtle and fine. When I received this box, my mind honestly brought me to the street of Europe, where I am strolling around the street to have a delicious lunch and gorgeous ambiance. Even my mind brought me to Tokyo in the fall, just lost in the bustling city or a visit to a temple because I love walking when I travel, I just miss travel so much, I can't believe it's already a year of limited travel.
But you can make the best of it, grab a new shoe, and walk to get a cup of coffee in the kitchen :D. It will make your day, even your week.

Here's my short unboxing video of SEISHOU Collection: Yale Classic Loafer in Burgundy leather
College moccasin with classic penny design, with hand, stitched upper.
This shoe is an evergreen style that takes its origin from the college penny moccasin in 60-ties.
The moccasin is made of shiny brushed leather.
Initially, this calf leather is matt because it is covered with removable wax. Once the shoe is produced, it is brushed using high-speed military fabric brushes which remove the matt covering and give it a particular shiny effect on the upper of the shoe.
The leather near the stitching remains matt. The leather sole is stitched using blake technology.
The sole is attached to the upper with hidden stitching.
The sole has an oblique-cut channel under its edges where it is stitched to the upper. Then this channel is glued and the edges of the sole are covered.
The sole is trimmed, polished, and hand dyed in the natural color of the leather.
The process of the hidden stitched sole not only waterproofs the outer sole but also completely adapts the sole to the upper to make the fit very comfortable for everyday use.
Your feet never feel tired wearing this type of shoe.
