COMME AND FALL TO ME

COMME AND FALL TO ME - People have said to me why these fashion magazines (in Indonesia) featured the Fall/Winter trend while here only have 2 seasons, so practical and very implemented. Well, I'm just like, why you no go to Puncak Jayawijaya, No, I mean there are some places that requires us to wear heavier fabrics, thicker textures and even faux fur and with that kind of situation some people concern with their look, cold but cool.

And when it comes to local designers (some young local brands) who actually produce the Fall/Winter collections, I saw their different angle of this. You will see a lot of leather, knit, even fur although just a bit fur, what is their background? to make their brand look cool or just for the sake of their existence in fashion industry?

Some of them said that, "We all want to look cool, I love leather jacket, and I should not put so much to care on this sweats" and in fact the cooler weather make our look cooler (vice versa with the hot weather make our look hotter). While some designes said to me that they need to make this collections exists because of international buyers request (smell of the big money), or like "my customers is mobile person, they love my collections and they want to wear them when the fall has come".

And thank GOD that my parents's place in Bandung is still have their fresh air, peaceful morning sunlight, melodious singing bird etc etc, wish someday I have the pictures to share with you. Maybe that's why, i love layering like this look with 2 shirts, one is quite thick and it's Agnes B Homme printed shirt covered with oversized Comme des Garcons black shirt in floating materials, and I love to wear sweater, and everything Fall-wind-Winter? or should I move somewhere maybe?
